Welcome to Chapter 47 of The Green Knights (GK47) Military Motorcycle Club!

Our primary mission is to promote safe motorcycling and community awareness on the Fort Sam Houston installation, as well as in and around the City of San Antonio.  As one of the four founding members in July of 2008, I am proud to say that Chapter 47 remains committed to motorcycle mentorship and camaraderie amongst the military family.

The Green Knights (closely associated with the Blue Knights and Red Knights) is an International Military Motorcycle Club (MMC) with over 90 Chapters (and counting) worldwide.  We are recognized by the Department of Defense and we promote the tenants of the Combat Readiness Center’s (CRC) Motorcycle Mentorship Program.  Please take a moment to read through our Charter, or contact one of our members, to see if the Green Knights is for you.

I would like to take this opportunity to especially encourage new riders, or non-riders that are considering the purchase of a bike, to consider joining our chapter.  We are particularly focused on mentorship of newer riders, and participating in group rides is a great way to build your individual skills while in the company of friends.  For those that fear the safety aspect, ask yourself this:  Will cars pay greater attention to me as an individual bike or to a group of ten bikes?  Riding with a group allows you to improve your skills in short order.
